Gold Week in the Community

Over 200 Gold Lunch events were held at workplaces, homes, schools and all over town supporting Gold Week. Here are some highlights.

4 June - Hugos Gold Lunch

A new Gold Lunch event for 2009 was held at Hugos Manly for over 200 guests. The Gold Lunch had the honour of being the very first charity event to be held at this new restaurant, hosted by Pete Evans and his team!

3 June - Bathers' Gold Lunch

100 Mosman and North Shore locals enjoyed the picturesque view of Balmoral Beach, dining on canapés and a two course meal, generously donated and prepared by The Bathers' Pavilion's well known chef owner/chef Serge Dansereau, also a Gold Week Ambassador.

1 June - Gold Day

The first day of Gold Week was celebrated at the Hospital with the help of some friends!

29 May - Nicks Gold Lunch

Over 400 celebrities, social and corporate figures will enjoy a lavish lunch at Nicks Bar and Grill, King Street Wharf on 29 May to celebrate the launch of Gold Week 2009.

27 May - Project Gold

A fantastic partnership between schools and corporate groups saw the decoration of the Hospital in gold - aka ‘Project Gold'! Thanks to all involved and for Crust Pizza Maroubra for supplying the pizzas at the end of a great day!
