We invite schools to also participate in our Gold Week campaign and have some fantastic information collateral to distribute to those schools who are actively involved. The information booklets give students of all age’s insight into what happens at Sydney Children’s Hospital. To register your school

Step One: Fill in the registration form

Once you’ve decided to participate in Gold Week campaign just fill in the registration form! Then email this back to Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation :- libby.oneill@sesiahs.health.nsw.gov.au and/or fax back to (02) 9314 6195.

Step Two: Receive an Authority to Fundraise

Every fundraiser must be registered with Sydney Children’s Hospital and be issued with an Authority to Fundraise.

Junior Schools

Sell the ‘Gold Week’ badges within the school environment

Host 'Gold Coin' day - activity to be determined by each individual school. Some suggestions include:

  • shoot baskets, kick goals, have a sausage sizzle lunch
  • Gold theme art exhibitions
  • baking cakes and selling slices for a gold coin
  • making something with a gold theme at school and selling it to their parents
  • turning an existing event into a “Gold” event
  • Choose to fundraise with The Golden Circle School Fun Runs program and donate a portion to The Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick Gold Week. Senior Schools
